He has also been part of the minimal access surgery revolution, which was started when he went to the UK for higher surgical training in the year 1989. In his 32 years of experience, Dr. Arun Prasad has performed over 10,000 minimal access surgeries, laser weight loss treatment, abdominoplasty procedure, mesotherapy treatment, and more.
    His expertise in the medical field mainly varies in minimally invasive surgeries, which has now translated to robotic surgery. Dr. Arun Prasad is the only surgeon who developed laparoscopy at Charing Cross Hospital and Medical School, London, from 1992 onwards. He is also a member of various societies like Dr. Arun Prasad is the president of the Obesity surgery society of India, and he was the former vice president of the Indian Association of gastro Endoscopic surgeons.
